Dr. Susan Hoffman was born in Jackson, Michigan, and began her veterinary journey at Michigan State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science—and met her fiancé, Lee. She then headed south to pursue her veterinary degree at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM).
Dr. Hoffman is Fear Free Certified and currently pursuing her acupuncture certification. Her special interests include rehabilitation and integrative medicine, dentistry, and preventative care.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Hoffman enjoys swimming, kayaking, reading, and baking. She also enjoys hiking with Lee—together, they hope to visit all of the U.S. National Parks. They share their home with a sweet grey tabby cat named Ivy.
Dr. Hoffman is passionate about building strong connections with both her pet patients and their families, and she looks forward to supporting the human-animal bond every step of the way. She can’t wait to meet your furry companions soon!
