"An outstanding group of folks who took excellent care of my beloved dog. I am beyond grateful for the time and care they provided for my Charlie (a 2 year old Pit bull) especially after I had a really disappointing experience with another vet in town. His previous vet admitted (after two unsuccessful visits for his ear infection and a lot of money wasted) to being prejudice against Charlie's breed and therefore didn't offer proper care. That meant my Charlie suffered from this ear ache two weeks too long.Ottawa Animal Hospital West didn't even show a moment of hesitation when I requested Charlie become a new patient there and told them his breed. In fact the woman who set up the appointment for us was already expressing joy about his breed and how much she adores them. What a relief! From the moment we arrived they never disappointed and were gracious, informative, and warm. I really believe they went above and beyond both getting to know him and earning his trust by also letting him get to know them too. FINALLY a Vet that will treat my Charlie like the tender hearted, smart, sweet, fun and friend loving dog he is. Thank you so much! Charlie is my baby and it makes my heart happy as well as gives me much needed peace knowing Charlie finally has a great Vet now who we can trust will respect and appreciate him.
